Test Info
Registration
Test order forms should be turned in to Dr. Kolc or Mrs. Zoucha in the Administration Office no later than Thursday, March 19th in order to ensure delivery of the testing materials.
Funding Options
UNO will pay the testing cost for all students enrolled in UNO Dual Enrollment. It is required that all UNO Dual Enrollment students participate in the AP testing. Students must still complete an AP Test Order Form and mark the Dual Enrollment column.
The District will also once again reimburse students who earn a 2 or better on the AP exams. AP grades are sent to schools in late July or early August so refunds are mailed generally in late August or early September. We will send your original check back to you if you earn a 2 or better, please complete separate checks for each test. We will not deposit checks (of those students earning a 1) until August or September after AP scores are processed.
Again this year the Millard Education Foundation is offering scholarships for the cost of AP exams. The scholarship covers the entire amount of the test. Scholarship forms must be turned in to Dr. Kolc by Monday, March 9. Any AP student in need of financial support to cover the costs of testing is eligible to receive this scholarship. We will notify you about your scholarship status. Please do not order any tests for which you applied for scholarships until after you have received notification of acceptance or denial. If you earn the scholarship, we will automatically order the corresponding test(s).
Late Testing
Late testing is allowed by the CollegeBoard under very limited conditions. Alternate exams must be ordered and must be given on the assigned dates. CollegeBoard charges an additional $40.00 for each late exam given. Late testing is only permitted for specific emergency situations or district competitions. Late testing is not permitted for senior class trips, school assemblies, family vacations or family commitments. Any student who thinks he/she might qualify for late testing should see Dr. Kolc.
Pre-Administration Meeting
All students participating in testing must attend a pre-administration meeting. Attending this meeting and being on time is crucial in order for you to receive your AP scores. Last year, some students did not get the scores returned to them until very late, because they did not complete this information accurately. Please make sure you attend one of the following pre-administration sessions. All sessions will be held in the lecture hall, and are scheduled as follows:
- Monday, April 27 from 7:30 – 8:30
- Monday, April 27 from 3:30 – 4:30
- Wednesday, April 29 from 7:15 – 7:55
